DECEMBER 1

So today is the 1st day of December 2014. and its a new chapter in the last year of 2014. as tacky as that sounds it is the truth. my year has been filled with so many unpredictable and amazing things. Well its about time that i need to make some changes and important decisions that will rule my life at least for this phase that i am going through,
I just turned 21.
Yasssss.
21 i don't even know what that means, well i do but i don't. Because in some states, that just makes me legal to drink or legal to party in some clubs. its just gives me more responsibilities in a different setting. Some would have me pay for my own rent or get a wife, i just do not even know about this life anymore.
For me 21 is just an opportunity to be strong in my voice and in my opinion towards certain matters. It gives me a certain voice that i might not have had in my previous years.
It calls me get into a serious phase, and serious relationships. Which reminds me , we always complain and say that we are happy to let go of people in our lives and what if we are the ones that are let go off, how would you feel.
Anyway i am just a ranter and raver about the various things that happen in my life.

END OF THE WEEK, END OF SOME OTHER THINGS

So it's Fridayyyy, a lot of TGIFs and other fiascos. This is my last Friday as a 20 year old. Yeah next week, this boy turns 21... yasssss!!!!
I can't wait, my loins are bursting with excitement. (probably the worst expression). Anyway i dont even have a clue on what I will do, but I always wanted it to be a big affair because it is. This is like a whole new age bracket. Anyway i bet a plan will come up, the people around me are very resourceful and there is always Google which might lead me to New Stanley Hotel for Chinese.
So this week in a nutshell.
I got to bump into an old friend at my barber shop and things turned fishy with a late night texting scenario last night, but that's a whole post on its own.
It has also been raining on and off since Monday, being Nairobi and since we are smack in the middle of the Equator the weather is practically bipolar because one minute it's raining and in the next five its literally sunny.
then I have been home alone since Saturday and no there have been no parties or sleepovers, only lots of fries and soda and icecream.
My highlight of the week though is discovering a passion for Ariana Grande and her talent through her single off the Mocking Jay series soundtrack, All My Love. [ I shall post a link later]
apart from that also spending time with my friends 😊😊😊

Wednesday

so I practically the best procrastinator in the blogging industry. 
Anyway this is probably the worst way to start a post,  with a weird title altogether. 
so a tell all about my life currently. 
we have midsemester exams in school and I am in no way prepared for one of my monster papers INTERNATIONAL LAW!! which sounds as scary as it is in bold.  Anyway it's my first paper today so I am hoping that it will be AWESOMEEEE since I will binge read for it for the next 5 hours. 
then I have a whole relationship mental breakdown fiasco... where I don't really know what path I am meant to take or if indeed I am meant to take that path... plain confusion. 
then I have 'work' internship situations of life and death,  where I am practically working and doing over 1000 things at the same time and my employer employee relations can be said to be strained due to one to many misunderstandings and poor judgements, I am in no way going to say from what side. 
what else is happening, oh yeah my AIESEC conference is just a few weeks away and we are still experiencing major major assess of problems. 
positives is that my relationships yes relationships are good thus far...

THE SAM SMITH IN MY LIFE

the title of this post is mostly because Sam Smith is such an amazing person and his voice has a soul and spirit of its own.  he is basically an epitome of what love sounds like... at least sad love. My favourite track is Make it to me which I play almost every night before I slowly disappear into my world of dreams and fantasies.
the reason why I say this is because I feel that I have found love and love has found me... well I hope against all hope that it has. so far the world has accepted this fact.
I am so afraid of messing it up or being the one that breaks it because i wouldn't want to be the next person who finishes someone's heart... like am afraid to break it. 
Anyway love is secretive and fresh,  new and exciting,  as much as I want to explore and experience it,  my instinct prevents me from doing so. 
This will be a cherished one and different one.

WHEN THAT GLIMMER OF HOPE DIES OUT

I am an optimist and tend to view the positives of life and shut out the negativity. As unhealthy as people would say this is i keep on doing it because it keeps that glimmer of hope alive. However there will be a strong sense of negativity that comes about from disappointment. And i got disappointed  far too many times by the same person.
Working so had to let life go on and then the truth comes out in such an ugly manner.
Anyway less pessism at least my rainbow showed up in the face of love....
Yes there is another love story. My love story. I think and feel that it will be an amazing passionately intense love affair. (Sounds delicious i know) .
In other news i started working out two days ago and my body aches as hell...i dont really get why people do this to themselves. That would lie in my reason for working out which is I need to look good in a pair of Speedos am planning on getting, to post shirtless pics on instagram, to get the girls , but most importantly to be happy.  I am happy with the way i am tall dark chocolate skin and srkinny but i feel i need to refine myself or go through a metamorphosis of sorts. Its like how my barber decided to make me semi bald .
Plus yesterday i clocked two years in United States International University. Am going to be a junior next semester. WHOOP WHOOP. i think i have mentioned why third year is important to me , it was when i planned on getting into a serious relationship. Yes some of us like to have an outline of how every detail in our life will play out. I find it relaxing and calming to have a plan but once in a while something turns up and blows everything out of the water. This might be a necessary step or measure.
Anyway its Sunday and am proudly going to undergo the walk of shame after a shamefully uneventful evening.

THE BATTLE OF SANITY AND ANTI -DEPRESSION

To some extent i do not want people to think am going insane or have depression but its a truth that tends to peak out of its shell.
Being a young adult, there are so many things that fgo through our minds. Many adults think that we have no right to get depressed because all we do is go to campus and have the time of our lives, so some extent that may be true but the truth in this case is highly debatable.
Everyone has a 'low day' those days that all one needs to cocoon themselves or hide under a blanket and feed on oreos and chocolate milk. Mine are usually unpredictable and come so often that i think i might die from it.
Sanity is when my mind and spirit fight the depression and this is usually a tough war which i can compare to waking up on time on a monday.
The aspect that puzzles my mind is...

My sad love story

So it has been a while since i posted and i have decided the time is right because i have 'feelings' .So of late i have been feeling lonely or 'unloved'. Before i joined university i had this perfect plan where i would fully concentrate on my studies for the first 3 years, and have no distraction :D.
Truthfully it was so until i met someone three weeks into my freshman year. Our relationship blossomed and we fell in love...crazy sexy love!! All i thought about, all i dreamt about. Everything was perfect and i had no complaints, it was genuine and the love was real! the other details were also good, the right moods and optimum happiness was acquired. We even had our song Ellie Goulding's LIGHTS and then after a year the holidays came and just us our love blossomed it started to dwindle and fizzle out. We fell out of love as they say. Then came the bitterness, and the sweet reminders and the escapades...
i can genuinely say this was my first true love and it was probably my worst ending.
Then after that i met someone else, well technically they found me and after a really long period of time we met up and something blossomed...a love that was sincere and very intense intellectually. It went for some time and before we knew it we were growing out of love and the cycle began again. this time i was a bit prepared but the effect was still felt, and the worst part of it is that everytime our song plays on my playlist i feel it rushing through my veins a rush of blood and then a rush of saddness and a tad of torment. My own concortion of my sad love story. 

BE STILL MY HEART BECAUSE IT'S FREAKING OUT

Hi,
As i write this post i am listening to Demi Lovato's single Neon Lights and the title of my post are part of the lyrics. Some times i feel like i could get an anxiety attack, in the sense that i literally feel some typa way :) { i just had to throw that in there somewhere} Anyway back to the point. Being a human being is kind of tasking, especially being what many people call the youth. I feel like i am dragging too much and the most weird thing is that i do not even know or understand what it is am carrying. The cliche of having a dark cloud over one's head is what i feel. A heavy heart spiced with sadness.
Hope i get over it.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MY LIFE SO FAR

My blog is one of the most exciting things currently BLAAH ahahah. I have tried to achieve this amazing state of everyone reading my blog, sent over 100 whatsapp links and i don't think people were as interested. Anyway i will keep on posting and being fabulous in my own world. 

Something i am extra excited about is LOOKBOOK.NU yes it is another link but i find solace in it because there is some genuine happiness when i post my photo there. Lookbook is a website where on gets to view a lot of fashion, one of my passions, from everyday people who are bloggers and stylists. It gives one this closeness and brother sister nature. I try to post three photos a day, yesterday i discovered that there needs to be a 6 hour interval to avoid "over dominance of a user" how dandy and straight forward caring for the less popular people. Other sites need to incorporate such considerations. Especially Instagram, on that note i need followers, do feel free to follow me, the link to my account is on the right hand side of my blog, or you can search for me my name is @freddieanyona :D
While we are on the topic of  Instagram, there has always been the ultimate social rule that one needs to have more followers than the amount of people following. I find it tough to do so because all i do is follow 3 to 5 people on Instagram and i don't unfollow people by the way. Plus i usually get way too excited when one person follows me, that why i say i am among the less popular. However some experts say social media friends and followers are not important, i say it helps kill and add some people's depression so...

Anyway, I AM IN LOVE WITH MYSELF and am SINGLE. And i listen to the 1975 ( an indie rock band from Britain ) and am listening to Ellie Goulding's JOY at the moment. 

Once i sought my Soundcloud problems i will most definitely put up a playlist and change people's minds and preference of music.

I already had a post about Sauti Sol and their video which in due time will cause the Internet to crash! it's awesome if you haven't seen the video go to NISHIKE VIDEO.These guys have raised the standards so high that i think no one can make me love them more, I haven't seen Prezzo's video yet so i do not know ( waiting to see Vera Sidika though) anyway Sauti Sol have always been my favourite band in Kenya, and i sing along to all their songs because they are so easy to learn and they are AWESOMEEEEE HANDS DOWN!! Mad respect!

2. JAGUAR F TYPE 

Well what can i say a Jaguar is A Jaguar.Nothing else to say. And its pretty cool, it looks amazing, and it comes with a price tag to boot as well , with some versions costing up to 20 cool million shillings (KSHS i believe) Anyway the launch happened in Kenya, Nairobi WHAT WHAT!! last weekend. 3. LEATHER INSPIRED CLOTHES

This has been a trend i have loved forever, its the coolest look ever. Not only is it edgy but suave as well. Celebrities like Ne-Yo, French Montana, have been rocking it through out the season, i haven't got mine yet but i will most definitely get a pair ASAP (Not ASAP Rocky i meant AS SOON AS POSSIBLE)

I tried it and i like it, and i like my stylist Georgia, she has very good ideas and tips and a great sense of styling. The world is going so far with technology and fashion. the only bummer is that they haven't got to Kenya, so i said in live in the UK, ( but its true in my dreams)

GQ is the number one male magazine in the world, at least in my world. It talks about so much, from fashion to work out regiments, to cars to house decor. It's everything a guy needs. I specifically love GQ UK, without any specific reason just because i do :)

SAUTI SOL

Sauti Sol has been one of the most famous bands in not only Kenya, but world wide. Everyone knows them, like everyone. Their first major hit was Lazizi ( which is the best song ever for Karaoke nights and love songs). Anyway from then they had massive singles like Polisi, Coming Home. Well the reason i have a post dedicated to them is because of their AWESOMENESS and for a thumbs up!!
So there is a craze about their new single, titled "Nishike" which can be literally translated to English to mean HOLD ME. Anyway the video is so on point i think i will make myself their marketer or brand ambassador!

i will just have to post it so that you can see it for yourselves, its just AMAZING!

7' OCLOCK

Here i am lying in my bed at the corner of my room and the song '5'Oclock' by TPain and Skylar Grey (i think) plays in my mind. It would be so appropriate having a post at 5AM but i do have a life, of sleep.
Its 1st May, in Kenya that means its Labour which means SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP. Well for the lazy ones. :) I forgot to turn off my alarm for 4:30AM so i mercilessly pounded my poor phone's screen God knows that screen has gone through so much worse. Anyway i forgot to mention i have a job, or internship or attachment whatever you would like to call it, and it demands my presence each and every day from 4:30AM when my alarm rings, (then i snooze til 5:15AM) to 6AM when i leave the house to 8AM when i get to my  desk (that am in love with for now) to 5PM when i walk in ultimate tiredness to the bus stop to grab a matatu home, then traffic conveniently crops up and i leave the City Centre at 7PM get home at 9PM. EAT SLEEP PRAY. Pray then Sleep rather.
Anyway point is today is different. ITS A HOLIDAY. That's why am awake in bed at 7:40AM because my brain has decided it runs on a schedule, and this is not it.

Hi.
My name is Fred. Well that is one name, i am even thinking of removing it from my name title. I want to be called by my surnames, but that is complicated and a story of another day. Anyway, blogging is a love and passion of mine (sic). In all honesty, i have started so many personal blogs that i think i have to use alternative email addresses to create other ones, however i feel this is going to be different and long lasting.
So just a gist about this blog, i would love it to be one of the most talked about, inspiring, and heart stirring kind of blogs,like what Nancy Mwai, has done with hers. It will be about my passions, obviously inclusive of the hottest trends, things that are in!!
i just had a moment, and my brain thought of Fab-U-List, the show on E! i would want my blog to be like that, COOL, TALKED ABOUT etc. On a serious note though, i also want it to be a blinking beam of hope to every other person like me, a mix of introvert and extrovert, the guy who already fits in but want to have his space, the boy who wants to have his cake and eat it. That sort of thing.
